Early Voting Hours Extended and Absentee Ballot Deadline Extended

Early voting hours have been extended by Gov. O’Malley. Beginning Wednesday, October 31st, early voting locations will operate from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, November 1st from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, November 2nd from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, November 2nd was added as a makeup day for Monday, October 29th, which was cancelled due to the hurricane.

The deadline for absentee ballot applications was also extended until Wednesday, October 31st. The new deadline is 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31st for applications received by mail or delivery and 11:59 p.m. for applications received by fax or email. Applications should be sent to the local board of elections.
